I do things other than writing?? Yes! Don’t get me wrong, I write whenever I have time, or motivation. But I also know it is important to take breaks. What do I do when I’m not writing?
Well, family vacation is one of the things I do. We love going for a week just the three of us (my husband, myself and our son) on a family adventure. It strengthens our bond, gets us away from the daily stress of work and school, and gives us a fresh perspective again.
I am also a gamer. I love video games, they can be so inspiring! I played World of Warcraft for a decade, and now I play Final Fantasy XIV. I fell in love with the story telling and fantasy world of FFXIV. I love how beautiful everything is. I have learned a lot about character arcs and development through a story from playing these games.
I also enjoy nature walks. Being out in nature is so inspiring and good for the soul. It always refreshes me and makes me feel lighter.
Finally spending time with other family. We love visiting with my dad (mom was also over until she passed away in December 2024) on Tuesdays weekly, and going out to my husband’s parents’ place on the weekend. We enjoy a meal and have time to catch up and hear how things are going for them.
I like to keep a well rounded life, all things in moderation. I enjoy doing so many things, this is just naming a few. What are your hobbies?
